HOW DOES THE PLATFORM WORK ?

This platform will be run by a new kind of business, an independent Privacy Service Provider (PSP).  

These businesses provide comprehensive user privacy enforcement in the form of a dedicated online service, called a “Privacy Authority” (PA), enabled by the use of the OPERANDO platform.

The PSP provides free privacy services to citizens, and paid services to Online Service Providers (OSP), supporting a trusted privacy protection relationship between Service Providers, users and a Privacy Regulator. The Privacy Authority may store the users’ personal data securely and release it judiciously to authorized OSPs, based on the individual user’s Privacy Policies (UPP).
