UNIVERSITY OF PIRAeUS RESEARCH CENTER

University Pireaus Reseach Center (UPRC) provides administration and technological support to basic and applied research carried out by the teaching staff of the University of Piraeus in or outside European Union frameworks. It is characterized by

  - Its extensive experience in applied research and consulting due to the experience of the teaching staff of the University of Piraeus in both the Public and Private Sector.

- Its modern technological infrastructure.

The high quality of the research and consulting work carried out to-date by the UPRC has led to a large number of collaborations either in the frame of EU-funded projects, or undertaken on behalf of large domestic companies and institutions, e.g., the National Telecommunications Organization, the Greek Ministries of Education, Health, Economy, etc., the General Secretariat for Research and Technology, to name the most recent.
The participating group from the Department of Informatics of the University of Piraeus has significant experience in the areas of Privacy, Security, e-Government, Network Technologies and Software Engineering.
